The supported independent living option provides guidance for adults moving into community apartment living. The adults focus on learning daily living skills, social skills and community awareness skills that will allow the fullest participation within their own community . Aldaview is very highly regarded as a full player in the small community of New Hamburg. Not only are financial supports one of the main keys of success in community integration, but business supports, such as providing employment opportunities for the individuals are equally important. The agency's main focus is to increase awareness in the community about disability issues and to break down the barriers to increase the options for people with disabilities.
